Description
Non-zero dispersion shifted single mode optical fiber produced by the Vapour Phase Axial Deposition (VAD) method, which enables construction of high capacity, ultra-long haul WDM system. This fiber allows for easier deployment of WDM in metropolitan areas, and increases the capacity of fiber in WDM systems throughout the wavelength region between 1530nm and 1625nm (S, C, L-bands). Its non-zero dispersion characteristic reduces four-wave mixing and cross-phase modulation over a wider wavelength range than conventional NZ-DSF. Optomagic Co., Ltd.’s non-zero dispersion shifted fiber has the ability to increase transmission speeds of systems up to 10 Gb/s and 40 Gb/s and also has superior polarization mode dispersion performance
Feature:
- Optimatized for effective operating of WDM system.
- 10Gbps, 40Gbps, and higher data rates.
- Superior performance for long haul networks.
- Lower sensitivity of transmission properties.
- Broad – range low attenuation properties.
Use / Aplication:
- Submarine cables.
- Voice, video and data transmission.
- Long haul WDM system.
- Long distance applications.
